So a few months ago I decided to switch from Birchbox to Ipsy. I was getting a little tired of the Birchbox products and wasn't really as excited about what they were sending me so I wanted to see what other places were offering. The annoying thing with ipsy is they put you on a waiting list for awhile (in my case for like 3 months!) I finally got my first subscription yesterday in the mail. It came in a neon pink padded envelope. Each glam bag also comes with a makeup bag and this was placed right inside with no fancy packaging. I do not like this makeup bag at all but that's not a big deal. Let's get into what's inside!
This is a creamy cleanser that does not dry out the skin and is great for people who have sensitive skin. The cucumber and aloe vera hydrates and soothes while the watercress helps protect the skin from free radical damage. This is a alcohol-free, gluten-free, vegan product! I think this will be great to use the next time I travel!
I also like getting nail polishes in these subscriptions. This is another vegan product that is 100% cruelty free. The formula does not have a lot of harsh chemicals that a lot of other nail polishes may have. The name Pacifica 7 Free means it's free of parabens, phthalates, toluene, xylene, camphor, formaldehyde resin and animal byproducts. Sounds good to me!
I think this blush and I will get a long very nicely. I love eyeshadow and blushes in stick form. Makes it so easy to travel and apply. This is definitely a color that I wouldn't normally pick but I think it looks really beautiful for Fall! It's supposed to be sheer and dewy on the cheeks!
I like the cute name. This looks like an all around great intense hydrating mask. I have color treated hair so I try to do a hair mask about twice a week. I will report back if this one stands out!
I do not leave the house in the morning without setting my makeup or powdering my face. I'm not a huge fan of loose powder because I just really don't like mess but I will give this powder a go. I like anything that says it will minimize the appearance of pores and fine lines.
And that's it! Are you guys subscribed to ipsy and do you like it?
