The Essentials List

I have oily combination skin. I have always had problem skin and I'm constantly trying to find products to help clear up my acne scarring. I have a serious obsession with skincare and makeup. These are my favorites.

No Poreblem Primer

I have pores and uneven skin on my cheeks. I also have a lot of freckles and unfortunately I'm starting to develop more and more skin tags with age. The Touch in Sol No Poreblem Primer gives me the most flawless base I have ever seen. I was actually shocked the first time I used it. It definitely fills in your imperfections creating a very smooth layer on your skin. My makeup always looks pretty extra when I add in this extra step. A little goes a long way and it's long-lasting too!

Soft Matte Concealer

The best full coverage matte concealer I've ever tried. The Nars Soft Matte Concealer is light and smooth but packs so much coverage! It doesn't slide around or look cakey and there's something super satisfying about applying it with your fingers. If you have dry skin or want something more natural, I recommend the Glossier Stretch Concealer. Stretch concealer is buildable but I still like the Nars to cover up my spots.

24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil

My every day makeup look consists of tightlining my upper eyelid. This gives the illusion of fuller eyelashes. I've been using the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil for years. I don't really like using felt tip eyeliners or gel pots (only on special occasions). I like eyeliner pencils because they make the makeup look more lived in and natural and they're so easy to apply. This formula is also one of the best that I've found for not running down my face.

hourglass blush dim infusion

My perfect peachy blush is Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Dim Infusion. I have been wearing this shade for at least 4 years now and it's still going strong. It's my prefect peachy pink coral that always makes me looks glowly and sunkissed. It never makes my makeup look cakey or over the top. It's perfect!
