Skin Brightening Essence - Mizon Mela Defense
Last year I added a new skincare step into my routine: Essence. Essence is applied after toner and right before serum. The first essence I tried was the Cremorlab Mineral Treatment Essence which was super hydrating and a great refreshing step. It's super watery so I kind of just pat it on with may hands as best as possible. Next I wanted to try a brightening toner and decided to go with the Mizon Mela Defense White Capsule Essence. I love the consistency of this essence much more because its a thicker gel texture that is much easier to apply into the skin. And the bottle itself has an airless pump inside which I really love. This means that when you push the dispenser at the top, it creates a vacuum effect moving the product up. This increases the shelf life and makes the product more effective.
I'm always trying to find products to help minimize my acne scars. The sakura and white flower ingredient is supposed to help brighten skin. I've been using this for about 1-2 months now and I think in combination with the rest of my skincare I do think that my skin is looking better and smoother than before. I'm still dealing with acne but my scarring that has been on my cheeks mainly for the past few months is slowly diminishing!
