Lush Ultrabland Facial Cleanser

lush ultrabland

I like to wear waterproof mascara. I hate removing waterproof mascara. Lush Ultrabland Facial Cleanser makes my night so much happier and easier when I need to remove anything waterproof or just a heavy face of makeup.  It's made up of rich essential oils and mostly from honey and beeswax which are very gentle and natural products. It's actually the first Lush product I've ever tried! I like to keep this in my shower because I find that it can get very oily and thick and hard to remove.  I purchased this a year ago and I've almost run out but I'm still using it! I wasn't sure if my skin would work well with cleansing balms but I've heard so much about them so I thought I would try this cult product especially since it's one of the most affordable ones. It's something I don't use every single day but I find it super effective when I do.

It was definitely something I wasn't used to using at first. It took awhile to get familiar with it and learn how to use it properly. You don't need to use much - I generally use a pea sized amount just for my eye area. I can apply it to my skin dry and just rub the product in with my fingers to break up the makeup. Then I go in with another face wash to remove the Ultrabland oil and the rest of my makeup. It doesn't leave my eyes feeling sensitive or sore from tugging with makeup wipes or cotton pads and it leaves my skin after feeling really nourished and moisturized. While I haven't tried more high-end cleansing balms, the general idea of cleansing balms get two thumbs up from me because they seriously make wearing waterproof mascara much better!
